Performing Life

Founders of the famous Russian political artist group 'Voina' (Russian for ‘war’) Natalia Sokol and her husband Oleg Vorotnikov with their kids left Russia in 2012. They were offered refugee status in Europe but after some time abroad the artists started to openly mock Europe and have refused offers of political asylum from various EU states. Zlata’s first documentary follows 'Voina' in Prague where they temporary live and captures the surpassing transformation of opposition artists into Putin’s supporters.
